Its seems like it has been forever since Santigold released any new music. Just last week, my wife and I were talking about how great it would be for her to drop a new album. Seven days later our prayers were answered and the first tracks have started to appear. Keep an ear out for more singles before the new album arrives in April.

I have been debating over the last couple of months if I wanted to continue with this blog. Last week I got my answer. On Friday I tried to go to musicayedeedee and got denied. Some hacker caused chaos on our server. I wasn’t able to share this Yacht remix and was actually pretty bummed out.
I have never been so happy to bring a post to you guys. My partner in MusicAyeDeeDee.com and good friend Jim worked hard this weekend to get the site back online. I can’t imagine not being able to share all this brilliant music to you. 2012 is going to be increasingly more complicated. The posts may slow at times but I will be here trying to bring you the best of the best.
So here is the best remix I have heard so far in 2012. I love the original Yacht version but this remix makes me dance like a fool every time I hear it. The builds are perfect. The vocal selection and placement aren’t too repetitive and highlight everything that made this track so catchy in the first place. So just a fare warning… If you decide to hit play, you will have to come back again and again to hear more.
